In order to regulate and track the usage of water, especially the usage of potable water, water meters are the proven tool and become more and more important for an efficient dealing and saving of water.
Function
Water meters are measuring instruments to count the amount of flowing water.
They are installed in the piping system where the water passes spinning a wheel. As a result, the wheel moves the counter which registers the consumption of water in liters or cubic meters.
Only calibrated water meters are allowed be used for the reading system (between consumers and utilities).
